Job Description
- Being responsible for processing and ensuring the data accuracy of payroll, taxations, overtime and other salary matters.
- Being responsible for liaising with the local authorities on the regulations, legal and compliance.
- Supporting the day-to-day administrative duties in the terminal operations and business.
- Providing reports and data collection for sales, operations and other stakeholders as and when required, and facilitating the reviews of external and internal auditors.
- Acting as the terminal representative when dealing with external parties with support from the Country Manager.
- Supporting and coordinating business control tasks like annual budget, forecast and internal control testing & local statutory/taxation-related tasks.
- Preparing and coordinating local communications with employees and external stakeholders.
- Handling an accounting or finance operation including:
- Raising payment applications through the JP Morgan internal portal.
- Issuing Credit Notes, Payment Vouchers, Receipt Vouchers, etc.
- Preparing monthly tax reports incl. withholding tax, VAT, Revenue Report, etc.
- Following up on Account Receivable collections.
- Liaising with the Finance Service Center in Shanghai and India for account clearing.
- Reviewing transactions of accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- At least 3-5 years experience in accounting.
- Good command of English
- Hold a CPD license is preferred.
