Job Description
- Leading, managing, and mentoring a team of Event Officers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of fundraising events.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive event strategies aligned with the company's fundraising goals and mission.
- Identifying and securing suitable event venues that align with the organization's vision and budgetary requirements.
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including the fundraising team, marketing, and communications, to coordinate seamless event execution and messaging.
- Negotiating contracts with vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of services for events.
- Overseeing event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, and on-site coordination.
- Monitoring and evaluating the success of events, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in event management to enhance the company's fundraising events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field.
- New Graduates are Welcome.
- Proven experience of 1-3 years in event management, preferably in a fundraising or nonprofit environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in project management and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
