Role and Responsibilities

  • Formulating strategic plans that align technology infrastructure projects with the broader business objectives.
  • Initiating projects involves clearly defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Efficient allocating and utilization of resources, including personnel, budget, and technology assets.
  • Leading cross-functional IT teams.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks in the IT landscape is a critical responsibility.
  • Maintaining transparent and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is paramount.
  • Creating Infrastructure Design and Implementation Oversight.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT infrastructure solutions is a priority.
  • Managing change processes, ensuring seamless integration of modifications to infrastructure components and technologies.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring and developing reporting mechanisms, offering insights into project status, risks, and achievements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the security of IT infrastructure is a critical responsibility and collaborates with cybersecurity professionals to integrate robust security measures into the design and implementation of infrastructure projects.
  • Project Closure and Evaluation: Handling post-implementation reviews, gathering feedback, and documenting lessons learned to improve future IT infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure is essential. Familiarity with networking, systems administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong technical proficiency in cloud computing technologies is essential. In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), virtualization, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) is vital Prior experience in managing IT infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with IT infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in efficiently managing project resources, including human resources, budgeting, and technology assets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Awareness and understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to integrate security measures into IT infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in managing relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers involved in IT infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is beneficial.
