Responsibilities
- Being responsible for managing performance management and handling the responsibilities of other staff positions as needed.
- Completing daily opening and closing procedures.
- Planning and organizing production schedules.
- Evaluating associate’s performance in conjunction with associates’ career goals, and creating development plans to unleash their potential.
- Reviewing and ensuring 100% compliance to documentation practices for daily records (weighing balance, mm batch record, auto viscosity verification, load cell verification, cold room cleaning, temp. monitoring, CTQ monitoring, observation audit checklist monitoring).
- Coordinating with interfacing departments to analyze failures or deviations incl COD, and initiating corrective measures to ensure there is no reoccurrence/repeat failure.
- Reviewing downtime analysis daily and suggesting corrective actions in cases of failure to improve productivity (AF Quantity).
- Ensuring the implementation of CAPA from external audits, micro audits, and QA audits.
- Reviewing weight graphs and initiating corrective action in cases of an anomaly to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensuring training & implementation of SOPs, CAPA, change control & incident reporting.
- Preparing materials to maintain the intrinsic viscosity & bloom strength to ensure process control in Production.
- Ensuring that the overall factory work environment is safe, clean, and organized, and complies with 5S and GMP.
Qualifications
- University Degree (Bachelor) or higher in Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in production, production planning, material resources planning, and support of medium to small-medium-sized operation/manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of materials preparation and equipment validation.
- Confident and efficient, with project management skills.
- Good communication, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- A Team Leader, able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
- Good English communication skills.
