Our client is a global leader in automotive parts manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Finishes, analyzes and interprets financial, accounting and statistical information to aid in the direction of the Company’s business and for other purposes of internal and external use, including financial statements finished according to company corporate deadlines.
- Coordination, preparation and submission of the annual Business Plan.
- Annual and other periodic budgets and forecasts.
- Cash management to meet the requirements of business development.
- Administers annual and quarterly asset counts.
- Annual/quarterly schedules for Group Office and external auditors - complete corrective actions as identified in the auditing.
- Set-up the information system based on requirements from Group Office.
- Monthly reviews of financial performance with divisional managers.
- Maintain the general ledger and other general accounting records and related controls, and ensures the set-up and progress of proper accounting and clerical methods and systems.
- Set-up and maintain cost centers.
- Maintain and enhance the systems of internal controls, including a timely and accurate reconciliation process.
- Responsible for Tax, SAFE, MOFTEC, financing & legal issues relative to the financial matters of the division.
- Work independently, setting own pace and schedule, and adhering to financial deadlines and divisional needs.
- Ensures performance appraisals are conducted in a timely manner for all employees within the department.
- Comply with the designated ISO / IATF 16949 responsibilities, Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Health and Safety and company rules and guidelines - ISO/IATF 16949, EMS.
- Accept the ISO14001 environment system training (hazard communication procedures and compliance with the requirements of ISO14001).
- Observe standards for safe working conditions as outlined.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory acts as well as the rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Administrative Studies, MBA is preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of accounting and administrative experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of MRP Systems and Information Systems, with implementation experience.
- Knowledge of SAP operations is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
