Job Description:

The Quality and Safety Manager oversees the Quality and Safety Management Department, ensuring operational compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across all company processes.

Quality & Safety System Management:

  • Establishing and maintaining a company-wide Quality and Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Developing and documenting standardized processes across all operational areas, including change management, risk control, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implementing Bow-Tie Methodology to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate key operational risks and unwanted events.
  • Monitoring compliance and identifying areas for enhancement through structured audit programs, with a focus on past failure trends identified in Bow-Tie analysis.
  • Ensuring that corrective actions and process improvements are implemented by respective process owners and documented accordingly.
  • Maintaining all internal and external audit findings within the Improvement Actions Reporting System (IAS) and overseeing resolution processes.

Process Oversight & Improvement:

  • Supervising process documentation, ensuring coverage of key operational elements such as workflow structures, resource competencies, training requirements, KPIs, and safety performance indicators (SPIs).
  • Promoting data-driven decision-making by integrating statistical analysis and forecasting into planning and target-setting processes.
  • Engaging with process-specific committees to enhance compliance and ensure process updates align with new external requirements.
  • Advocating for an open-reporting culture and a Just Culture framework to foster transparency and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly involving liquid materials (e.g., oil & gas, paint, etc.).
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in relationship management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage.
