Our client is an association related to finance in Thailand.
Job Description:
- Supporting and taking responsibility for tasks related to legal matters, regulations, government orders, and the Bank of Thailand.
- Supporting and taking responsibility for tasks related to anti-money laundering laws and anti-corruption efforts in both the public and private sectors.
- Supporting and taking responsibility for tasks related to KYC and Compliance operations.
- Supporting and taking responsibility for tasks related to supervision and coordination to ensure Market Conduct compliance with the Bank of Thailand.
- Developing and implementing operational plans, including promoting self-regulation within the banking sector.
- Coordinating with various departments within the association, member banks, and external public and private sector organizations to drive and implement the association’s initiatives.
- Communicating with both domestic and international organizations and ensuring timely and effective execution of tasks until completion.
- Representing the association in committees and working groups and attending meetings as the association’s representative in public and private sector discussions.
- Coordinating with member banks to establish the association's working groups.
- Proposing ideas for improving the working group's operations and the association’s activities for consideration by the association’s secretary-general and group leaders.
- Supporting department heads in collecting data, preparing summaries, and reporting progress on various tasks.
- Assisting in preparing and facilitating the association’s president and secretary-general for meetings related to their responsibilities, including coordinating, organizing, and preparing necessary presentations for their participation in various forums.
- Strengthening and expanding the association’s role while fostering good relationships and collaboration with relevant agencies under the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry, and Banking (JSCCIB).
- Enhancing the association’s reputation among member banks, government agencies, private sector partners, and external stakeholders, both domestically and internationally.
- Ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of services to member banks.
- Handling other tasks assigned by the association.
Job Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- At least 5 years of experience in Legal and Compliance within the banking industry.
- Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
