We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a hydropower plant construction project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and the workforce, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with contractual agreements.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be managing all aspects of the hydropower plant construction project, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining and developing project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitoring and overseeing all project phases to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.
- Tracking project progress, reviewing reports, and driving action plans to meet project goals.
- Coordinating and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues and implement preventive measures. Assessing and mitigating project risks.
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of construction work following specifications and agreements.
- Leading key meetings, making decisive project-related decisions, and guiding teams effectively.
- Overseeing and managing the project from initiation to completion.
- Managing project budgets, assessing costs, and providing accurate cost forecasts.
- Maintaining effective communication and relationships with all stakeholders.
- Preparing cash flow reports, analyzing financial performance, and ensuring proper financial planning.
- Reviewing and approving payment requests, progress claims, and relevant reports.
- Leading and managing large teams efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management within the hydropower or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage large teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills in both technical and business aspects.
