Our client is the leader in chocolate production and bakery.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
- Overseeing daily operations of the pastry production department and ensuring the production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods meets the company's quality standards and customer expectations.
- Developing production schedules to ensure timely delivery and consistent product quality and monitoring inventory levels of raw materials to ensure timely ordering of ingredients to avoid production delays.
Team Leadership:
- Managing, mentoring, and training pastry chefs and production staff.
- Conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and addressing staff issues as needed.
- Scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, ensuring all production goals are met.
Quality Control:
- Maintaining high standards of product quality, presentation, and taste.
- Implementing and maintaining quality control processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Cost Management:
- Monitoring production costs and working to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Maintaining budget control and tracking expenses related to ingredients and equipment, ensuring the efficient use of raw materials and equipment to optimize production costs.
Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in pastry production.
- Proven experience in a high-volume production environment.
- In-depth knowledge of pastry production techniques and processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory and cost management.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
