Role Overview:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management to define objectives, develop comprehensive project plans, and oversee execution. You will also be contributing to enhancing project management frameworks and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership and communication skills will be essential in mentoring junior project managers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Developing detailed project plans, including milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Monitoring project performance, proactively identifying and mitigating risks or issues.
  • Communicating project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management and the Committee.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Continuously enhancing project management processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contributing to the development of the project management framework to align with industry best practices.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior project managers and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus).
  • 5-8 years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial industry.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., ClickUp, MS Project, JIRA, Asana).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in financial services, with knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
