PRTR is urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the team in the aviation parts manufacturing industry.

Role & Responsibilities:
Developing necessary systems and procedures to ensure timely customer supply through established supply routes, minimizing emergency deliveries.

This position reports to the MD.

Key Activities:

  • Optimizing the supply chain in the context of multi-sourcing, ensuring order fulfillment and budget achievement by maximizing all sources.
  • Prioritizing SEQ (Safety, Environment, Quality) in all operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with all standards (Aviation, ISO) and regulations (Import/Export, Customs) in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Leading activities to streamline logistics and warehouse management flows and processes.
  • Reviewing, monitoring, and evaluating the performance of 3PLs and forwarders to ensure their service levels meet predefined standards.
  • Collaborating seamlessly with the Sales department to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and timely supply according to the current situation.
  • Managing, motivating, training, and developing staff.
  • Budgeting (resource planning and control).
  • Reporting periodically according to established requirements.

Key Competencies:

  • Analytical Skills: Supply chain managers often work with data to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and improve processes. Proficiency with data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, and SCM software is essential.
  • Problem Solving: The ability to quickly assess complex problems, identify underlying causes, and devise solutions is crucial.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Managing relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams requires strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Project Management: Overseeing large-scale projects, managing timelines, and coordinating across departments.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Effective supply chain managers lead cross-functional teams and make decisions that align with company goals.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle), inventory management software, and logistics technology.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks, particularly those that could impact supply, demand, and logistics.

Performance Indicators:

  • On-Time Delivery: Measuring the percentage of orders or shipments delivered on time.
  • Order Accuracy: Tracking the percentage of orders fulfilled accurately, without errors or discrepancies.
  • Inventory Turnover: Higher turnover generally indicates more efficient inventory management.
  • Lead Time: Monitoring the time it takes from the placement of an order to the receipt of the goods.
  • Supplier Performance: Evaluating the performance of suppliers based on metrics like on-time deliveries, product quality, and responsiveness to issues.
  • Warehouse Capacity Utilization: Monitoring how efficiently warehouse space is being used.
  • Supply Chain Cost Budget: Setting and controlling the supply chain cost budget.

Professional Experience:

  • 6 or more years of related experience, with at least 4 years at a management level.

Education Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees such as an MBA or a Master's in Supply Chain Management or Logistics are beneficial.

Others:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • TOEIC score above 700.
