Job Summary:

Being responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace within the data centre. This role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive EHS programs and policies tailored to the data centre environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
  • Designing and conducting EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Promoting a culture of safety through continuous education and awareness initiatives.
  • Leading investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and preventive measures.
  • Maintaining records of incidents and preparing reports for management and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitoring and interpreting EHS regulations and ensuring that the data centre is in full compliance.
  • Preparing and submitting necessary reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.
  • Developing and maintaining emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Coordinating emergency drills and ensuring readiness for various emergency scenarios.
  • Implementing environmental sustainability programs and initiatives to reduce the data centre's environmental footprint.
  • Tracking and reporting on sustainability metrics and performance.
  • Working closely with other departments, including Facilities, Operations, and HR, to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of data centre operations.
  • Liaising with external agencies, contractors, and vendors to ensure EHS compliance and best practices.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in EHS practices and technology.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving EHS programs and processes.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in EHS management, preferably within a data centre, construction, or similar environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English.
  • The ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
