Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Management:
- Developing and reviewing annual safety plans and activities.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Planning, monitoring, and implementing safety policies.
- Reviewing and updating safety procedures for workplace operations.
- Conducting safety awareness campaigns and accident prevention programs.
- Evaluating workplace risk assessments and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitoring and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Environmental Management:
- Developing and implementing an annual environmental management plan.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant environmental laws and regulations.
- Monitoring and inspecting environmental conditions within and around the facility.
- Ensuring all environmental policies and procedures align with legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) management in a manufacturing environment (experience in heavy industries such as cement, steel, sugar, or mining is a plus).
- Must hold a Professional Safety Officer license.
- Experience in a Management Team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (proactive risk assessment is a plus).
- Ability to assess workplace safety and environmental risks.
- In-depth knowledge of safety and environmental laws and regulations.
- Experience or knowledge in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and follow-up skills.
