Job Description:
- Planning and preparing import and export documentation for materials according to purchase and production orders, adhering strictly to customs regulations and BOI requirements.
- Coordinating with the purchasing and production planning teams to ensure materials arrive on time and in the required quantities.
- Preparing essential import-export documents, including Customs Declarations, Shipping Orders, Import Permits, and Export Permits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Maintaining organized records of import-export data, including product details and costs, to ensure transparency and easy access for audits.
- Issuing Purchase Orders (PO) and monitoring product status with overseas suppliers to meet production needs in the right quantities and at appropriate times.
- Coordinating with customs, logistics companies, and freight forwarders to ensure a smooth import-export process that aligns with safe and efficient transportation standards.
- Troubleshooting issues or delays during transportation, such as customs clearance delays, to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Monitoring and complying with customs laws, safety standards, and BOI regulations as they evolve to avoid any tax or regulatory issues.
- Participating in training on new import-export regulations and standards as updates arise.
- Preparing monthly reports on import-export volumes and costs, analyzing data, and recommending process improvements for greater efficiency.
- Assessing potential risks and impacts associated with import-export activities and collaborating with management to implement strategies for cost reduction or risk mitigation.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, International Business, or another related field.
- Over 2 years of experience in Import/Export operations and BOI regulations.
- Knowledgeable in INCOTERMS, shipping processes, and documentation.
- A good working attitude with strong operational and communication skills, able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Able to communicate with foreign management in English.
