Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of key compressor parts used in the air conditioning and refrigeration industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a member of the Plant Management Leadership Team, setting direction and policies for the entire operation, and holding departments accountable for adherence to plant direction and policy.
  • Ensuring that raw materials are converted into finished goods for assigned areas/shifts.
  • Ensuring that processing and packaging execution meet related targets.
  • Ensuring that maintenance execution supports production performance.
  • Ensuring the integration of metrics across the process.
  • Being accountable for shift operations and responsible for integrating actions with other shifts.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Ensuring that quality systems compliance actions are completed in an effective and timely manner, and taking a leadership role in terms of quality.
  • Continually working to improve consumer satisfaction, indicated by reducing consumer compliance rates.
  • Ensuring the achievement of all areas/shift KPIs.
  • Monitoring project plans and statuses to ensure timely completion.
  • Being responsible for talent management processes for operations employees.
  • Making strategic decisions, considering immediate and long-term implications, benefits, costs, and risks associated with decision alternatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or any related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years at a management level preferred.
  • Knowledge of Production Management, Equipment & Tools, Production techniques, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Managerial capacity, ideally coming from a metal cutting, fabric & leather cutting, or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, energetic, and a strategic thinker.
  • Understanding of productivity, cost control, and basic profit and loss.
  • Good command of the English language and computer proficiency.
