Job Description

Our client is an automotive parts service provider.

Responsibilities:

• Researching vehicle equipment to ensure new product compatibility with all target application versions.
• Measuring and analyzing OEM and AM competitor samples.
• Designing AM products to exceed OEM specifications and meet customer requirements.
• Managing RFQ, design, and PPAP phases with internal and external teams.
• Supporting prototype builds tool tryouts, and PPAP activities.
• Conducting fitment and ride testing of off-tool samples.
• Preparing ECNs, BOMs, and drawings for new products and design changes.
• Developing data for product catalogs.
• Providing engineering support and technical information to internal and external customers.
• Assisting production, quality control, and problem-solving efforts.
• Identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in automotive design engineering.
• Familiarity with AM development processes and direct AM customer interactions.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Passion for motor vehicles, with prior shock absorber product experience.
