Job Description
Our client is a specialist in logistics and warehouse services.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the following key functions:
- Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, and transportation.
- Controlling and operating free zones, general, cool storage, and dangerous cargo warehouses.
- Managing warehouse inventory, WMS program, tracking and tracing, and controlling stock levels with delivery KPIs.
- Providing logistics solutions and project implementation for customers.
- Supervising and training warehouse staff.
- Contacting and negotiating with suppliers and business partners, while also building relationships with customers.
- Analyzing costs and controlling profit and loss, including investment planning.
- Developing and implementing logistics and warehouse support policies, procedures, and methodologies for the common benefit of all mission units.
- Providing economical transportation under proper handling conditions, both locally and abroad.
- Arranging transportation and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Ensuring logistics and warehouse activities comply with MSDS, ISO 9001, and ISO 14000 requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with expertise in Warehouse & Logistics Management from a logistics provider. A background in the chemical manufacturing industry or a multinational company is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good knowledge of MSDS; and experience with SAP will be an advantage.
- Prior experience with WMS systems is preferred.
- Good command of the English language and computer proficiency.
