We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team and drive the development of our accounting processes and systems. If you're ready to work in a dynamic environment and grow with a promising start-up, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and reviewing accounting tasks performed by an outsourced accounting firm, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and tax filing.
• Managing and verifying accounting documents such as petty cash reimbursements, employee expense claims, and issuing withholding tax certificates.
• Closing monthly and annual financial statements and providing summarized reports to management.
• Monitoring and ensuring the accuracy of tax-related tasks, including VAT filings, withholding tax, and corporate tax refunds from the Revenue Department.
• Preparing and presenting monthly management reports to the executive team.
• Assisting in designing and implementing accounting processes and systems for future scalability, including building an in-house accounting team.
• Working collaboratively in a start-up environment that currently relies on manual accounting processes.
• Providing strategic advice and creative ideas to improve accounting and tax efficiency.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience across multiple industries.
• Holding a valid CPD License.
• Expertise in financial statement preparation, tax regulations, and closing accounts.
• Experience working with outsourced accounting service providers.
• Proficient in managing accounting documents such as expense claims, petty cash records, and withholding tax certificates.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills to create clear and concise management reports.
• Comfortable working in a manual accounting environment and flexible in adapting to change.
• Being a visionary and creative thinker with the ability to guide the company in developing accounting systems and building an internal accounting team in the future.
