We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager or Head of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of our hospital. The successful candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, management, and reporting while ensuring compliance with regulations and hospital policies. This position requires strong leadership abilities and a thorough understanding of healthcare finance.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing the hospital’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the hospital's goals and objectives.
- Monitoring the hospital’s financial performance and preparing detailed reports for senior management and the board of directors.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and hospital policies.
- Managing cash flow, working capital, and investments to optimize the hospital’s financial resources.
- Supervising and mentoring finance staff, fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Collaborating with department heads to prepare and manage departmental budgets and financial plans.
- Conducting variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Leading efforts in financial audits and liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls to safeguard the hospital’s assets.
- Staying updated on healthcare financial regulations, reimbursement policies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in finance management, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, billing, and reimbursement processes (OPD & IPD).
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and financial reporting software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
