Our client, one of the most successful Logistics Service Provider companies based in Chonburi, is now looking for a Business Development Manager (Sales Hunting).
Job Description:
- Planning, managing, and directing the sales and marketing efforts to align with the company’s strategy to achieve revenue and international market share goals.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customers’ needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Expanding the customer base in Import-Export, Shipping, and Freight Forwarding to generate revenue for the company.
- Controlling operational costs to increase profitability.
- Managing the sales team, providing guidance and inspiration to achieve targets.
- Leading negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize company benefits.
- Coordinating and maintaining good relationships with international clients.
- Networking with local and international agencies to promote sales and enhance the company’s global visibility.
- Working with relevant departments to gather support information or find solutions to problems.
- Monitoring progress, analyzing results, and reporting to superiors regularly.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Understanding the process of shipping goods (by sea, air, or land) and international customs regulations.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in related positions.
- Insight into the logistics market, both domestic and international, including competitor trends and business opportunities.
- Ability to analyze the market and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Capability to manage a team, collaborate with different departments, and motivate the team to achieve goals.
- Using data and statistics to analyze the effectiveness of marketing plans and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ability to present services to new customers and negotiate rates with transport providers.
- Building good relationships with customers, partners, and affiliates such as shipping agents and carriers.
- Proficiency in English (minimum TOEIC score of 550) or other languages to communicate with international clients.
- Knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and tracking software for shipments.
- Ability to use online marketing tools such as SEO, social media, and email marketing.
- Able to make decisions and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Willingness to handle changes and respond to unforeseen situations.
- Seeking new opportunities to add value and differentiate the company’s services.
