Job Description:
- Overseeing and managing daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Ensuring efficient workflow and optimizing warehouse layout for maximum productivity.
- Implementing and maintaining best practices for warehouse organization and safety standards.
- Conducting regular inventory cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accurate records.
- Implementing inventory control systems and procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
- Monitoring inventory levels and reordering stock as needed to avoid stockouts.
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing warehouse team.
- Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and feedback to team members.
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensuring that all incoming and outgoing goods meet quality standards.
- Implementing quality control measures to prevent product damage and defects.
- Coordinating with logistics providers to schedule shipments and deliveries.
- Preparing shipping documents and labels accurately and efficiently.
- Monitoring shipping costs and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular safety inspections.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management for automotive parts or electronics components manufacturing.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP systems.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Results- and objectives-oriented.
- Good team player.
