Job Description

Our client is a global casings manufacturer. 

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to all members of the Commercial Department to ensure timely and effective responses.
  • Analyzing and reviewing information received from applicants in various sample, claim, and analysis processes, requesting clarification as needed to ensure accurate processing.
  • Conducting regular consultations with Field Technicians to guide process steps and resolve technical inquiries.
  • Receiving materials for analysis and coordinating their shipment to the appropriate production centres.
  • Assisting Field Technicians in tracking material traceability, finding alternative materials, and checking sample statuses.
  • Preparing regular reports on samples and claims for the Commercial team’s analysis.
  • Monitoring sample, analysis, and claim processes to maintain up-to-date status awareness.
  • Maintaining direct communication with local Technical Assistance teams, R&D, and Quality at production centres to expedite sample analysis and claims review.
  • Possessing a solid understanding of process management systems.
  • Maintaining knowledge of products, including their applications, descriptions, coding, and traceability. 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical service support engineering or related functions.
  • Provide training on corporate support processes related to samples, analysis, and claims for other employees.
  • Actively participate in product and process sessions, both as a listener and as a speaker.
  • Travel to subsidiaries to stay updated on the various products and processes within the company.
  • Manage product coding and assignments when department needs require it.
  • Coordinate with Sales, R&D, Quality, Planning, and Production teams to support sampling, analysis, and claims processes.
  • Demonstrate competencies in organization and planning, results orientation, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication.
