This role leads the charge in fortifying IT security across our organization by examining the current security landscape, predicting trends, and identifying potential needs for security enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthening IT defences by establishing access controls, management frameworks, and required resource allocations.
- Conducting a thorough analysis of historical and ongoing cyber activities to identify potential risks or current threats, helping to inform security strategy.
- Serving as the primary liaison with Internal Audit, regularly reviewing and updating IT policies and general IT controls, and communicating any changes across teams. Participating in scoping and review sessions for audits, supplying evidence of security controls, addressing any identified gaps, and implementing audit recommendations.
- Protecting IT infrastructure and critical information assets by anticipating and resolving emerging or existing security vulnerabilities.
- Staying current on cybersecurity developments and leading initiatives to raise cybersecurity awareness across the organization.
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2.75 GPA or higher.
- Good command of English preferably with 550 TOEIC Score or higher.
- Minimum 3 years of experience, particularly in an IT or network-focused setting.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, system management principles, traffic analysis, the OSI model, defence-in-depth strategy, and common security practices.
- Skilled in analyzing logs, network traffic, and other data artefacts to support incident response efforts.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and managing vulnerability assessment processes.
- Proficient with tools such as Anti-Virus, HIPS, ID/PS, full packet capture, and forensic analysis tools.
- Familiarity with at least one major enterprise SIEM platform, and understanding of mobile tech, operating systems (Android, iOS, Windows), VMware, and Unix commands.
