We are looking for a Generative AI Data Engineer to join our team and support a leading global retail company. In this role, you will help develop and optimize data pipelines, ensuring smooth data processing and integration within a cloud-based infrastructure. You will also work with Generative AI models, supporting data-driven AI initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data accessibility and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines to support data processing and AI applications.
- Assisting in data integration and ETL processes within the GCP environment.
- Working with Generative AI models, ensuring proper data preparation and management.
- Automating workflows and data tasks using Python.
- Collaborating with data scientists and AI teams to support machine learning initiatives.
- Ensuring data integrity and security within cloud-based systems.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering and data processing.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Airflow or dbt.
- Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
- Exposure to Generative AI models and their data requirements.
- Fluency in English.
