Job Summary
Our client is looking for an HSE Manager with extensive experience in construction projects and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant workplace throughout all phases of Data Center construction. This role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing comprehensive EHS programs and policies tailored to the Data Center environment.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards.
- Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Designing and conducting EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Promoting a culture of safety through continuous education and awareness initiatives.
- Leading investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and preventive measures.
- Maintaining records of incidents and preparing reports for management and regulatory authorities.
- Monitoring and interpreting EHS regulations and ensuring that the data centre is in full compliance.
- Preparing and submitting necessary reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.
- Developing and maintaining emergency response plans and procedures.
- Coordinating emergency drills and ensuring readiness for various emergency scenarios.
- Implementing environmental sustainability programs and initiatives to reduce the data centre's environmental footprint.
- Tracking and reporting on sustainability metrics and performance.
- Working closely with other departments, including Facilities, Operations, and HR, to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of data centre operations.
- Liaise with external agencies, contractors, and vendors to ensure EHS compliance and best practices.
- Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in EHS practices and technology.
- Continuously evaluate and improve EHS programs and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in EHS management, preferably within a Data Center, construction or similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, standards and law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication in both Thai and English
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
