Role & Responsibility
- Plan, execute, and follow up on annual trade promotional plans, with the involvement of commercial teams in all channels.
- Be responsible for assigned channel P&L, manage trade spend, and evaluate promotion performance and effectiveness and ROI.
- Strategically boost sales and market share through effective planning and execution.
- Optimize product placement and visibility in modern trade stores to maximize sales.
- Work with the Graphics team to develop trade marketing materials in line with the branding guidelines issued by the Marketing Manager.
- Work with the Commercial team to support in-store activation and sales activities.
- Key person to manage and train the Merchandise team.
- Lead the development and implementation of in-store merchandising across key accounts/channels as per the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
- Monitor the execution of annual trade marketing plans for key retailers by coordinating with the Marketing and Commercial teams.
- Providing actions to solve short-term and long-term sales issues of assigned channels.
- Effectively communicate with the Commercial team.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions and in-store promotions and identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expansion with an aim at maximizing sales for assigned accounts to achieve sales targets.
- Propose and implement the annual category strategy (customer business plan) e.g. assortment, promotion plan and trade deals.
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years' experience in trade marketing from the FMCG business (beauty).
- Have experience and a background in skincare or personal care products.
- Able to work under pressure and with speed.
- Good command of English / fair to good.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good planning and time management skills.
- Committed, focused, flexible, and an opportunity seeker.
- Customer oriented.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis in MT and CVS channels will be an advantage.
