Our client is a leading supplier of manufacturing products.
Responsibilities
- Identifying, evaluating, and selecting qualified suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capabilities.
- Negotiating favourable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and delivery schedules.
- Managing supplier relationships, including performance reviews, contract renewals, and dispute resolution.
- Assessing supplier capabilities and performing supplier development projects.
- Scheduling supplier visits, conducting supplier surveys and audits as needed
- Analyzing supply chain performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Implementing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical, and Polymer Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Purchasing role within a Plastic group from the manufacturing environment.
- Deep knowledge of Plastic commodities.
- Able to communicate in English in writing and speaking.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP systems.
