As a key member of the Brand and Design department, reporting to the APAC HUB and headquarters in Switzerland, you will guide the design direction for the APAC region while ensuring compliance with our brand guidelines. This role emphasizes maintaining the creative quality of the company brand's content design across the APAC market, taking full ownership of all branded materials produced in the region, and ensuring their consistent and exceptional execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrating seamlessly with HQ's task distribution and communication channels, managing branding requests for the APAC region.
- Inspiring and mentoring local designers while actively participating in design projects initiated by HQ, adapting them as necessary for the regional market.
- Fostering strong relationships with local designers through regular meetings, reviewing their branded materials, offering enhancement suggestions, and providing visual guidance for local marketing efforts.
- Standardizing the use of visual resources across local markets by supplying tailored templates and guidelines for various materials, including product presentations, exhibition content, and promotional assets.
- Acting as a liaison between HQ and the APAC Hub, promoting brand development in the region, sharing best practices, and aligning the local team with HQ’s brand directives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fluency in English is a must, enabling you to manage requests in both English and the local language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Design Management, Brand Design, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience as a senior designer, brand designer, design manager, or art director in creative agencies or in-house teams.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator; familiarity with BAM tools like Frontify and Miro’s digital collaboration platform is a plus.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a refined aesthetic sensibility and a deep understanding of brand design, layouts, and packaging for FMCG or retail consumer products.
- Exceptional communication skills that allow you to effectively present and articulate your ideas.
