Job Description

Our client has been active in the agriculture and food industry in Thailand for over 75 years, specializing in tapioca starch, modified tapioca starch and organic products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing domestic sales activities with a focus on strengthening existing client relationships and securing new business to drive revenue.
  • Conducting effective negotiations with clients to understand their needs, aiming to meet their expectations while maintaining profitable business relationships.
  • Fostering strong, lasting relationships with both current and potential clients, promoting trust and collaboration to support the long-term growth of the business.
  • Actively communicating with domestic distributors, addressing their concerns and ensuring smooth coordination to meet market requirements.
  • Working closely with internal departments to ensure that customer demands are met and that the sales process runs smoothly from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve annual sales goals by identifying new opportunities and implementing strategies to meet and surpass objectives.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of sales strategies by tracking progress and generating detailed reports to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in domestic sales, preferably within the food ingredients or food sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and departments.
  • Proven ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Strong sales acumen with advanced negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing and able to travel, including to up-country areas and, occasionally, internationally.
