The company is seeking a suitable candidate for the position of Production GM to join the team.

This position will be based in Indonesia. This position will lead, plan, and evaluate production activities, workforce management, and machine maintenance to support the company's overall objectives.

Job Description

• Regularly assessing and planning production processes to ensure that the products meet established food quality standards and achieve production targets.
• Organizing and managing the production process flow, ensuring that it adheres to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
• Overseeing and monitoring the performance of production machines, promptly addressing maintenance issues to ensure machines are fully operational and functioning optimally.
• Submitting repair requests and supervising maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Planning and evaluating regular maintenance schedules for production equipment, ensuring machines are ready for use and downtime is minimized.
• Supervising the use of materials in the production process, ensuring that the correct quantity and quality of materials are utilized as per production needs.
• Developing and implementing training programs for production staff, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and competencies to meet production requirements.
• Regularly evaluating staff performance to ensure optimal productivity.
• Planning labour allocation for production cycles or batches, ensuring that staffing is efficient and aligned with production demands.
• Establishing and evaluating standard documentation processes for production activities, ensuring all production-related documents are complete, accurate, and in compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in production management, preferably within the food manufacturing or dairy industry.
• Knowledge of aseptic processing.
• Strong knowledge of production operations, quality control, and machinery maintenance.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes is a plus.
• A good command of spoken and written English is a must.
• Willing to relocate to Indonesia.
• Open for expats.
