Our client is one of the leading global companies in the field of ventilation, control and drive technology.

Seeking for Senior Engineer - APAC Advanced Quality Planning, who will be responsible for leading and managing the quality planning activities within APAC. 

Responsibilities

  • Leading the development and implementation of advanced quality plans (APQP) across global operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the APQP framework to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance to integrate APQP processes into product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Assessing and mitigating risks associated with product quality throughout the product lifecycle, from design through production and post-production phases.
  • Establishing and maintaining robust supplier quality management processes, including supplier APQP, to ensure the quality of components and materials sourced globally.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations in all APQP activities and processes.
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement within the APQP function, leveraging data-driven insights and metrics to identify areas for optimization.
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the global APQP team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on quality excellence.
  • Being responsible for all production and procurement sites in the APAC region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 -10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 3 years in a Senior role overseeing APQP processes on a global scale.
  • Deep understanding of advanced quality planning methodologies, tools, and techniques, particularly within the automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001 /  IATF 16949 and regulatory requirements specific to the industry.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of leading high-performing teams, fostering a culture of quality excellence, and driving results.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with experience leading complex, global projects from initiation through implementation.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and learning, with a proactive approach to staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in quality management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Very good written and spoken English language skills (TOEIC Score 700+).
