Our client is a leading jewellery manufacturing company in Thailand with a workforce of 500 people, specializing in the production of high-quality, artisanal jewellery.

They are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources department, overseeing all aspects of HR operations and driving a positive and productive workplace culture.

Position Overview

The HR Manager will manage the full scope of human resources activities, from recruitment and employee relations to compliance and talent development. This role will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with labour laws, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
    • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring we attract top talent for various roles within the company.
    • Collaborating with department heads to define job requirements and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
  • Employee Relations
    • Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
    • Promoting a positive work environment and handling sensitive issues with confidentiality and care.
  • Performance Management
    • Overseeing the performance management process, including performance appraisals, employee development plans, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Ensuring continuous performance monitoring and support for career progression within the company.
  • Training & Development
    • Identifying training needs and implementing professional development programs to enhance employee skills and growth.
    • Driving leadership development initiatives and providing support for managers to develop their teams.
  • Compliance & Labor Law
    • Ensuring compliance with local labour laws and industry regulations, including health and safety, working hours, and compensation.
    • Managing employee contracts, benefits, and payroll in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Compensation & Benefits
    • Overseeing the administration of compensation, benefits, and reward programs to ensure competitiveness in the market.
    • Ensuring fair and equitable compensation structures within the company, while managing payroll-related issues.
  • Workforce Planning & Development
    • Developing and implementing HR strategies that support the growth and scalability of the workforce, including succession planning and employee retention strategies.
    • Maintaining workforce analytics to assess staffing needs and talent gaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Thai labour laws and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thai national with a high level of English.
