Job Description
- Transferring knowledge to all Electricians (Craftsmen) to ensure best maintenance practices for controls and drive systems.
- Supporting the startup of new equipment and ensuring electrical production equipment C&D standards.
- Interacting with suppliers to maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
- Maintaining professional and technical C&D knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks. Training and participate in the evaluation of electricians in the area.
- Maintaining updated C&D documentation in the area (electrical plants, troubleshooting guides, etc.).
- Protecting, Creation of Backups and Maintenance of control system software, such as IPCs, PLCs, Drives, Communication Devices, etc.
- Ensuring a proper diagnosis of electrical problems, repair and restart of production machinery of the area of responsibility in case of breakdowns.
- Managing C&D equipment spare parts in cooperation with the Purchasing Department.
- Ensuring the implementation of the local Maintenance strategy (focusing on MaintainME and including SAP PM, interfaces with other departments.
- Raising awareness, ensuring regular ESH training and providing information about ESH responsibilities and duties.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or other equivalent field.
- Over 3 years of Controls and Drives experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade or installation projects.
- Has participated in Maintenance, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Beckhoff PLC, Siemens PLC programming, Step7, Tia Portal, Win CC, SAP, and PM.
- Assertiveness with international contacts through projects, colleagues, and external suppliers.
- Ability to read electrical drawings.
- Good at communicating in English.
