Job Description
- Overseeing of day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Preparing and maintenance of financial statements following Thai accounting standards.
- Ensuring precise and timely execution of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Supervising the payroll process to guarantee compliance with Thai labour laws and internal company policies.
- Managing payroll calculations, tax filings, and other statutory obligations.
- Handling the maintenance of accurate payroll records and resolution of any payroll-related issues.
- Supervising inventory accounting, encompassing cost allocation and valuation.
- Handling the regular execution of inventory reconciliations and support for physical inventory counts.
- Provisioning of reports detailing inventory levels and turnover rates.
- Preparing financial reports and statements for review by the US Financial Controller.
- Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning as necessary.
- Upon establishment of stability in Thailand's operations and accounting procedures, provision of support for US accounting processes as directed by the US financial controller.
- Assisting the US financial team in areas such as financial reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on Thai accounting standards and tax requirements.
- Familiar with QuickBooks software.
- Fluent in both English and Thai, with strong communication skills in both languages.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a small team environment.
