Responsibilities
- Maintaining Food Safety and QA programs and records as per company and customer requirements.
- Managing the daily activity of the Quality Department and taking responsibility for implementing Quality Systems including HACCP, GHP, FSSC, and Halal and conducting major customer and supplier audits.
- Managing quality control of the incoming material, in-line product, finished product, cleaning chemical and pest management program to meet agreed specifications and comply with law/regulatory and customer requirements.
- Ensuring all legal standards are met.
- Keeping records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant document.
- Supervising and guiding inspectors, technicians and other staff.
- Developing and evaluating new or revised procedures using the methodology and an in-depth understanding of all procedures in the QA system
- Promoting food safety and food defence awareness to the team.
- Being responsible for maintaining internal specifications and updating specifications.
- Being responsible for Internal Audit Activity, CAR follow up and report.
- Customer Audit Support: Compiling quality and manufacturing records and conducting complete batch reviews for customer audits
- Supplier Audit: Being able to perform the supplier audit to maintain the quality of critical materials.
- Customer Complaint: Providing support as needed to document, track and maintain customer complaints, lead investigations, determine root causes, corrective and preventive action and follow up corrective action taken.
- Representing quality meetings and quality issues, working with Engineers, Production and other team members to complete projects.
- Ensuring all testing, reporting and product release is in alignment with the quality system and standard.
- Monitoring all operations that affect quality.
- Issuing and following up on all nonconforming products, materials and processes.
- Ensuring all activity and product quality conform with both Thai and customer's country regulations.
- Leading the Traceability and Mock Recall testing.
- Handling Pest Control and Fumigation Management.
Qualifications
- Minimum Associate's Degree with a Bachelor's in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or a related field.
- Experiences in Food manufacturing with at least 5-7 years.
- Understanding of food manufacturing, HACCP, GHP, FSSC, BRC Halal Halal MUI and other legislative requirements.
- Understand problem-solving tools and applicable ones.
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA.
- Good command of the English language (Speaking, reading and writing).
