Our client is a machinery tool manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicating with both domestic and international customers via various communication channels with excellent communication abilities in Thai and English.
- Having the ability to understand engineering terminology and the ability to perform quantity take-offs from engineering drawings.
- Having the capacity to access a complex database to accurately extract information to quote, process orders and service customers.
- Negotiating via telephone and having commercially awareness approach.
- Working as part of a team adhering to specific office systems and ensuring efficient customer service.
- Sending quotations and requesting technical details, such as drawings from clients to create quotations with technically sound solutions.
- Receive orders, book the production and notify customers accordingly throughout the complete process.
- Continuously studying details of the company’s products and keeping the information up to date.
- Working closely with other departments such as Sales, QC, Material Specialists and Technical Support team to ensure our customers receive first class support and the right product for their needs.
- Providing commercial and technical support to customers and agents.
- Building beneficial relationships with existing and new customers.
- Supervising 4 subordinates and following orders assigned by managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields.
- At least 3 years in a customer service role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read or understand engineering drawings.
- High energy demonstrated interpersonal/cultural skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate at all levels both within the customer’s organization (both local and multi-national) and internally within the company.
- Must possess a logical, hands-on approach, be a “self-starter” and have a drive to succeed.
- Experience in operating an ERP system/Oracle.
- Understanding of international delivery terms.
- Must be flexible and able to deal with a variety of tasks and variables at the same time.
