Job Description

Our client is a food manufacturer. 

The Business Development / Key Account Executive will be responsible for the functions below:

  • Working closely with the company’s head office team, as well as their distributor(s) in Thailand, in formulating business strategies and their implementation to meet company goals and KPIs.
  • Developing growth (value, volume, and market share) targets and business objectives that align with company strategies.
  • Working with the Distributor team to define and deliver distribution growth (in product availability, visibility and sales), trade marketing strategies, plans, and budget.
  • Collaborating with the sales function of the distributor (Head Office or Branches of Distributors) to develop national and local distribution and market development and strategies.
  • Performing market assessments and analysis to identify potential new businesses (new products) and/or clients, including market competition information.
  • Engaging potential clients to present the company’s capabilities to understand clients’ needs and business objectives.
  • Collecting and analysing information required for business cases, including but not limited to market data and product information.
  • Collaborating with other Functional Teams such as regulatory affairs, sales and client teams, logistics supply chain, finance and legal departments to prepare business cases.
  • Overseeing implementation of the Trade Marketing strategy - including in-store trade promo activities, in-store branding, campaigns, events, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related fields.
  • At least 5 -8 years of working experience in food & Beverage industries that have manufacturing based in Thailand.
  • Experience in developing a new business (new distributors) and increasing the sales revenue with existing distributors. Some experience in Trade marketing will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in English communication / English is a must.
  • Able to work independently, proactive and positive thinking.
  • Well organized.
