Job Description: HR Manager

About the Company
Our client is establishing a new manufacturing site dedicated to the production of pet food for export. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of the foundational team, playing a critical role in setting up and ensuring the smooth operation of the HR and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- New Setup Experience: Lead and manage the human resources and administrative setup
- of the new factory. This includes developing HR policies, systems, and processes from the ground up.
- Factory Registration: Oversee the Thai factory registration process, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
- HR and Administrative Functions: Manage all HR and admin functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and office administration.
- BOI Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of Thailand’s Board of Investment (BOI) regulations to support the company’s operations and compliance, particularly related to 100% export manufacturing.
- Labor Law Expertise: Ensure compliance with Thai labor laws and regulations, including managing blue-collar workers. Stay updated on labor legislation and implement necessary changes.
- Policy and Regulation Setup: Develop and implement factory rules and regulations, ensuring they are comprehensive, fair, and in compliance with all relevant laws and best practices.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in HR management with a track record of setting up HR functions in a new manufacturing environment.
- Factory Registration: In-depth knowledge of the factory registration process in Thailand.
- HR and Admin Expertise: Strong background in managing HR and administrative functions in a factory setting.
- BOI Knowledge: Familiarity with BOI regulations and requirements for export-oriented manufacturing.
- Labor Law: Expertise in Thai labor law, particularly in managing a diverse workforce that includes foreign blue-collar workers.
- Policy Development: Ability to develop and implement comprehensive policies and regulations for the factory.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Languages: Proficiency in Thai and English, both written and spoken.
