Our client is a global leader in automotive manufacturing. 

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced managerial role within an industrial setting. Responsible for the Accounting and Administration Department. For the monthly closing of the corporation’s books and for financial statement preparation in a timely and accurate manner consistent with company policy and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Analyzing financial reports and records making recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves; reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journals, reviewing the accounting classifications assigned to records, developing or recommending accounting methods and procedures; supervising the general accounting services and functions under generally accepted accounting principles and corporate policy; maintains all system of accounting and internal controls for fixed assets, stock, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Handling overall administrative, human resource, safety, and environmental functions, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating accounting matters with manufacturing and administrative departments. Reviewing expense reports and tracking monthly expenses; reviewing accounting codes to ensure proper booking; records and maintaining records on NG costs. 
  • Supervising accounts payable and accounts receivable, developing and recommending accounting procedures used in these functions as well as assigned general accounting areas of responsibility; responsible for internal and government reporting associated with accounts payable and accounts receivable, develops new reports as needed. 
  • Monitoring the accounting for corporate revenues, plus expenditures, and amortization. Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements for the management decision-making process.
  • Performing various cost accounting duties, including standard setting, variance analysis, and margin analysis, supervising monthly inventory count and preparing monthly inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate company fixed assets records and supporting documentation.
  • Assisting with budget/projection process.
  • Performing regularly scheduled closings under established corporate and government requirements.
  • Serving as a member of the software development or installation team to evaluate, select, and install new accounting software systems or improve existing software.
  • Handling monthly closing of accounts on time, including submitting monthly report packages to Head Office. 
  • Maintaining daily cash flow monthly and yearly conducts short-term or long-term case forecasting as requested.
  • Communicating and balancing intercompany accounts. 
  • Maintaining a book of written company policies and procedures. 
  • Performing special projects as assigned by the President such as analyzing liability and budget variations.
  • Preparing & developing monthly management reports to help the president in performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and maintaining accurate records of management accounts and statutory accounts. Filing of all tax returns with accuracy & timeliness.
  • Reviewing & approving all vouchers for recording, reviewing bank reconciliation and accounts detailed analysis.
  • Recording and allocation cost of labour Salary report with accounts detailed analysis.
  • Liaising with software house and IT personnel to overcome problems & develop effective solutions.
  • Performing and coordinating together with the HQ office on financial reports.
  • Serving as a member of Logistics to apply Customs Tariff Code and BOI project.
  • Serving as a member of Tax Analyst to cope with the local tax return.
  • Performing and monitoring the local tax submissions i.e. VAT, Withholding Tax, Personal Income tax and Corporate Income Tax, and cooperating with the tax officers for post-audit.
  • Performing and renewing the factory insurance e.g. all risk insurance, products liability insurance., and claim if any accident.
  • Controlling and managing the cash flow report to ensure the company have enough cash for operation.
  • Serving and supporting internal and external auditors for financial reports and business outcomes per statutory compliance.
  • Managing and leading administrative staff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to deadlines.
  • Reviewing & approving payroll reports with analysts.
  • Overseeing human resource functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and implementing policies to promote workplace health and sustainability.
  • Maintaining office facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.
  • Handling confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Ensuring all related compliance with Thai laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing multiple functions (accounting, administration, HR, safety) within an industrial environment.
  • CPD is required, Registration Accountant with the official authorities and can sign for certifying company Financial Statement (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss).
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Management, Financial, Accounting, Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in BOI & NBOI business.
  • Enhancing productivity and morale of subordinates and Implementation of continuous improvement projects
  • Experience as an auditor of a reputable audit firm is a plus.
  • Requirement, Internal audit 14001 version 2015 is required.
  • A Safety Officer at the Management Level is required.
