Job Description
Our client is a logistics provider.
This position is responsible for guiding a team of logistic associates in the provision of logistics operational functions such as customer service, trucking coordination and the generation and maintenance of operations documents, reports, correspondence, and expenses. Assist the Supervisor operations in the daily office activities and communications to customers.
Responsibilities
- Guiding a team of coordinators associates to provide administrative support to the Operations.
- Handling order processing, and preparing and maintaining reports and files for all operations records, correspondence, plans, and expenses.
- Assisting in the coordination and preparation of all necessary documentation for the movement of cargo.
- Performing the tracking and tracing functions, and assisting in the daily warehouse and administrative activities and communications.
- Liaising closely with external parties to ensure shipments are expedited smoothly.
- Corresponding and liaising with customers and to attend to their enquiries.
- Handling any other ad-hoc/administrative duties.
Qualifications Summary
- This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Logistics industry.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business Administration.
- Good working knowledge of the following logistics operations areas – distribution, manufacturing, inventory planning, and materials management.
- Good Interpersonal skills.
- Good Communication skills and good command of spoken and written English.
- Good Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Good customer relationship management skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
