Our client is a global leader in food manufacturing in Thailand.
The company is now searching for a suitable candidate for the position of Assistant Production Shift Manager-Food Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety of all associates and contractors within the factory.
- Reacting to and organizing plans to deal with any issues in the shift that could impact production.
- Driving operational excellence on a day-by-day basis vs key scorecard targets.
- Acting as site custodian ensuring that Associate safety, Food Safety, and Quality standards are maintained across the production area.
- Organizing temporary labour numbers with outsourced labour suppliers, ensuring that we always run with the minimum of labour.
- Having strong functional knowledge and the ability to coach others on the HAACP systems.
- Planning crewing in conjunction with the demands of the daily plan to enable the site to maintain customer service levels.
- Supervising, engaging, coaching, and leading shifts of associates and contractors to meet production plans.
- Working jointly as part of the area leadership team (CI, Process Engineer/ Process Tech, Maintenance Tech) to create a reliability strategy for the area of responsibility.
- Being in charge of reviewing and ensuring materials, staffing, and resources to support line operation and changeovers.
- Delivering the operational objectives through the use of FMOS, AM, and Continuous Improvement.
- Being in charge of reviewing the performance operation and control of equipment in process line with high technical skills best safety practices, quality standards, operating standard rate, and minimal waste.
- Being in charge of audit to maintain a clean working area according to 5S & GMP standards.
- Ensuring machine cleaning & sanitizing: M/C wash-down (daily), M/C sanitization (weekly), and Area cleaning (daily) meet the standard.
- Coaching, executing and driving continuous improvement for MSE, AM, and PM including Clean-Inspect-Lubricate (CIL), Centerline (CL), and PM plan.
Qualifications
- Thai only and not over 30 years old.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply, or technical field of study.
- At least 3 years of experience in a TPM (MSE) / technical, manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership, coordination, and planning skills.
- Experience in leading change and situational leadership.
- Ability to relate to and motivate people and effectively train.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
