Key Responsibilities:
- Deploying, configuring, and managing VMware and Hyper-V environments for client infrastructure projects.
- Designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for system, storage, and network issues on-site.
- Collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Performing system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning as needed.
- Writing and maintaining basic automation scripts (e.g., Shell, Cron, Python) to streamline operations.
- Maintaining detailed technical documentation and reports for client infrastructure.
- Providing training and handover sessions to client IT teams when applicable.
- Ensuring all solutions are compliant with client policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a System Engineering or similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Storage, and Networking.
- Proficiency in scripting tools (e.g., Shell Script, Python, Cron).
- Experience in client-facing roles with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently on client sites and handle multiple priorities.
- Positive attitude, self-driven, and capable of working under pressure.
