Accountabilities:

  • Being strong in wireframing, prototyping, and user interface design.
  • Being capable in interaction design and user flow.
  • Engaging actively in standard design processes.
  • Being confident in applying best practices to common design problems with solid solutions.
  • Addressing specific product capabilities that need to be solved (e.g., checkout process).
  • Communicating decision-making rationale confidently to team members.
  • Recognizing that design is not just about aesthetics, but also how it contributes to broader goals; understanding business goals and technical constraints.
  • Contributing to meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia, Animation, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or other relevant qualifications or agency/work experience.
  • Understanding graphic design principles, including layout, color theory, typography, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in UX design and the design process, familiar with user testing and user interviews.
  • Being able to work with brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD.
  • Proficiency in prototyping tools, especially Figma.
  • Being proactive in suggesting new ideas based on best practices and UX principles.
  • Having structured, organized work habits and self-managing follow-ups with the internal team to deliver the best customer experience within short timelines.
