Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of human resource management at the Chonburi plant. Reporting directly to the President (Japan) and Regional HR in Singapore, the HR Manager will oversee a team of 7-8 HR members. This role is a critical leadership position requiring expertise in core HR functions, labour union management, and alignment with Japanese corporate culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Management

  • Developing and executing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Contributing to workforce planning and management initiatives.
  • Driving action plans and organizational changes to support business objectives.

Employee Relations & Labor Union Negotiations

  • Managing labour relations and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
  • Leading and participating in negotiations with labour unions.
  • Fostering a positive and harmonious workplace culture.

Compensation, Benefits, & Talent Development

  • Overseeing the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Implementing training programs and establishing training standards.
  • Driving performance management and talent development initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

  • Acting as a liaison between local HR teams and the Regional HR office in Singapore.
  • Preparing and delivering HR reports to senior management.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Experience:

  • Having a minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrating proven expertise in labor union negotiations and employee relations.
  • Possessing strong leadership experience in managing a team of HR professionals.

Skills:

  • Having a comprehensive knowledge of core HR functions, including strategy, workforce management, training, and C&B.
  • Being able to navigate and adapt to Japanese business culture.
  • Exhibiting strong interpersonal and communication skills.
