Job Description:
- Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules, taking into account factors such as order deadlines, material availability, machine capacity, and labour availability.
- Prioritizing production orders based on urgency, customer requirements, and resource constraints.
- Monitoring production progress and making necessary adjustments to the schedule to ensure timely completion.
- Analyzing production capacity and identifying potential bottlenecks.
- Proposing solutions to improve production efficiency and capacity utilization.
- Identifying areas for improvement in production planning processes.
- Implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Generating reports on production performance, including key metrics such as on-time delivery, production output, and material usage.
- Analyzing production data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business administration, supply chain management, statistics, operations management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a Production Planning role within an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other ERP systems.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Self-motivated, self-learning, with a can-do attitude and target-oriented approach.
- Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- High responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
