Job Description
Our client was established in Thailand and is headquartered in Japan. With the country’s economic growth, Thai food culture is widely developing, and the Thai food processing industry is expanding.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receiving customer-ordered confirmations and replying with acknowledgements to the customer.
- Examining and comparing the details between the customer-ordered confirmation and quotation.
- Recording the orders, checking stock, and reserving parts.
- Procuring parts and external services/repairs as requested (e.g., re-ordering stock, offering support, engineer/technician assistance).
- Processing procurements both locally and overseas.
- Comparing specifications for parts and collecting data.
- Preparing the supplier database and processing evaluations according to the purchasing procedure.
- Issuing purchasing requisitions and processing approvals.
- Forwarding purchasing requisitions to the purchasing department.
- Collaborating and following up on orders.
- Checking and inspecting goods upon receipt and processing them into stock.
- Collecting, recording, and summarizing purchasing orders for projects or overhaul work.
- Involving and processing customer requests for services such as part repairs or blade sharpening, and handling returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in the Purchasing or Procurement field, preferably in machine trading or machine manufacturing.
- Knowledge of procurement functions, spare parts, and related processes.
- Strong negotiation skills, sourcing abilities, and experience in issuing POs.
- Experience in both domestic and international purchasing.
- Proficiency in written English communication.
- Ability to work 5 days a week near BTS Bearing and BTS Samrong.
