Job Description
Our client is an automotive parts company.
Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of production, including planning, scheduling work, monitoring output performance, ensuring on-time deliveries, and optimizing space utilization.
- Creating and managing reports on key performance indicators related to efficiency, health and safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Scheduling, training, developing, and motivating a team of employees to perform and achieve targets in a cost-efficient manner.
- Undertaking regular performance appraisals and employee reviews.
- Managing staffing levels to meet budget requirements and ensure efficient operations throughout the year.
- Assisting the PL in managing an effective inventory system.
- Conforming to ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards, and implementing health and safety policies, as well as ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 procedures.
- Understanding and adhering to the Employee Handbook and all regulations of MDST.
- Assisting the Quality and Engineering functions in managing quality issues.
- Performing other tasks or projects assigned by the Manufacturing Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing.
- Strong management, analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
