Our client is a petrochemical service provider.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Improving plant reliability and asset integrity by implementing corrosion management strategies and the RBI concept.
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate materials for engineering applications based on operational requirements.
- Designing inspection and test plans to effectively monitor asset condition and performance.
- Conducting root cause failure analysis for static and rotating equipment, offering optimized recommendations.
- Establishing integrity operating windows to manage and control corrosion and asset degradation.
- Developing new methodologies to enhance corrosion control and extend asset lifespan.
- Exploring and integrating emerging technologies to improve corrosion management practices.
- Ensuring effective communication and collaboration with teams to align on asset integrity practices.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on corrosion management and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in metallurgical, materials, production, or welding engineering.
- At least 2.7 GPA for a Bachelor’s and 3.3 GPA for a Master’s.
- 5-10 years of experience in inspection or corrosion engineering for the oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical industries.
- Knowledgeable in the RBI concept, corrosion mechanisms, materials, and NDT methods.
- Certified API 580 Risk-Based Inspection.
- Other API, NACE, or ASNT certificates would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, collaboration, and results-driven approach.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
