Job Description
Our client is a well-known company in the chemical industry.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Having strong technical knowledge in sampling and testing of raw materials, water, steam, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Gaining hands-on experience in analytical methods like protein estimation, enzyme assay, HPLC, SDS Gel, UV, cell density, etc.
- Being responsible for the maintenance and smooth operation of QC lab equipment, such as pH meters, conductivity meters, weighing balances, spectrophotometers, calorimeters, HPLC, SDS Gel analyzers, etc.
- Preparing/reviewing analytical reports, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and checklists required for inoculum preparation and related analytics.
- Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and adherence to quality standards.
- Preparing validation documents in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Following cGMP (current good manufacturing practices) and GLP (good laboratory practices) procedures and safety regulations in the lab.
- Working closely with other departments, such as Production, R&D, and Engineering, to ensure quality considerations are integrated into all aspects of the fermentation process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in quality control or a related field.
- Being self-initiated with a positive attitude and a quick learner.
- Having the ability to work well in a team and an environment with rotational shifts (if required).
- Possessing good English skills.
