Job Description
Our client is engaged in the construction contracting business in Thailand.
Responsibilities:
- Promoting, supporting, and monitoring the implementation of workplace safety operations according to the security unit's project plans to achieve organizational and unit safety goals.
- Supervising, overseeing, and ensuring the correction of deficiencies related to employee safety or as suggested by safety officers.
- Reviewing work analysis for safety and conducting risk assessments.
- Controlling emergency preparedness, emergency conditions, emergency incident management, accidents, and safety management.
- Attending meetings to report on incident investigations and accidents.
- Inspecting and advising employers on complying with occupational safety and environmental laws in the workplace.
- Analyzing work to identify dangers, establishing prevention measures, or proposing safe work procedures to employers.
- Evaluating workplace safety risks and preparing reports for client requests.
- Analyzing project plans and recommendations from various departments and proposing workplace safety measures.
- Evaluating operational practices of establishments to ensure compliance with project plans or safety measures.
- Recommending that employees comply with workplace safety regulations and manuals.
- Recommending, training, and educating employees to prevent unsafe work practices and developing training plans.
- Conducting specialized safety training both internally and externally.
- Handling other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety.
- Strong knowledge of safety laws and the ability to consult with units/organizations on safety.
- Ability to travel to inspect work in various provinces.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.
- Valid driver’s license.
